Mo is one of my favorite shows of the past few years, yet it remains criminally unknown in Finland. I managed to score an interview with Mo Amer, creator, co-writer, director, and star of the show so that we could talk about this heartwarming and very humane saga.
During our chat, we talked about the difficulty of balancing comedy with drama, how personal Mo wanted to get with his show, and why he's at his best when things are challenging.
